When choosing a MicroSD card for your MiVue device we recommend considering the classification and capacity of the card. The SD card class will let you know how fast the device and read / write data and the capacity will let you know how long you will be able to record before the device will start overwriting older data. We recommend using Class 10 MicroSD cards with at least 8 GB capacity.
This is especially important when recording in HD, as the quality can either improve or decrease depending on how fast the SD card can write information. 


Please note: Mio doesn't guarantee the product's compatibility with memory cards from all manufacturers.

More Information
Before using a card for the first time you will need to format it to avoid malfunction caused by files not created by MiVue. We also advise formatting the MicroSD via your PC, but it is also possible to format the card directly on your MiVue go to ● Menu ▼ Format ● .
We do not advise leaving the memory card in the drive recorder when it's not in use for some time and do not keep the cards or their cases near a strong magnetic field or electronic device that could erase data or damage circuits.
