Cyclo will calculate a route for you, depending on your currently selected profile. The routing algorism is based on the type chosen, such as a City Bike or Run & Walk. You can modify route settings for each type by Settings>Routing. At the route setting page, you can choose to avoid major roads, allow cycle routes and node network, or allow cobblestones for your gravel bike.
If you decide to take a walk in 'Surprise Me' function, do remember to set your profile to Run & Walk to generate the right route for you.
