The route calculated by my MiVue Drive is a lot longer than it should be

Calculating a route
If you are calculating a route which covers one or more countries, then you must make sure that you have installed all the countries which are on route to your destination or you may find that the route your device calculated is much longer than expected.

If for example you are travelling from Germany to Italy, but you don’t have the maps of Switzerland or Austria installed on your device, then the route calculated will be much longer than expected as your unit will have to calculate a route around these countries via France because the map data is missing.

You can check which maps are installed on your device by tapping FIND > Address > and then the flag in the top right hand corner of the screen to view a list of the maps installed. You can uninstall/reinstall any of your maps at any time via MioMore Desktop/NavDesk.
