All you need to know about safety cameras for Combo and MiVue Drive series

Lifetime safety cameras

Your Combo / MiVue Drive device comes with free lifetime safety camera and lifetime map updates, they are offered up to four times a year. The cameras come pre-loaded straight out of the box and require no additional activation.


Updating a safety camera subscription

The safety camera data is embedded within the maps data, to receive the latest speed and red light camera locations, connect your device with PC, open MioMore Desktop and accept all updates offered. Downloading the latest map update will automatically install the safety camera data too.


No audio alerts
You will only receive an alert if you drive at 80% or more of the speed limit. If you drive at less than 80% of the speed limit, you will not be troubled by an unnecessary alert, ensuring your full attention stays on the road ahead. For example, if you are travelling at 24 mph in a 30 speed limit zone you will receive an audio alert, but if you are travelling at less than 24 mph you will not.
