Disabling Safety Camera alerts

Turning the Safety Camera alerts OFF

If your device comes with either free safety cameras or if you have previously purchased a safety camera subscription, Visual & Audible camera alerts are turned on by default.

Please follow the instructions below, if you wish to turn the alerts off:

Note! The German Law states 'Anyone who drives a vehicle may not operate or carry a ready for operation technical device intended to indicate or interfere with traffic monitoring measures. This applies in particular to equipment designed to interfere or display speed measurement.

It is advised if travelling in Germany to disable use of safety Camera Alerts.

From the main menu select Settings > Safety and find the Safety / Mobile / Average Safety / Red Light Camera settings in the list. Now select each one and change Visual & Audible to 'No alerts'. When all four camera settings have been changed, you can exit the device and drive without receiving the camera warnings.
