Troubleshooting

  • Device doesn't switch on when using the battery power.
  • The remaining battery power may be too low to start your Cyclo. Please try to fully charge your device and try again.

  • Delayed or very slow screen response.
  • Ensure that your Cyclo is not running out of battery power. If the problem persists with a fully charged battery, try to restart your device.
  • Device is experiencing intermittent GPS signal issues whilst cycling outside
  • A new OS update, version R55, has been released on CycloAgent to help improve the GPS first fix time and signal strength. Please connect your device to CycloAgent, using the micro USB cable supplied in the box, and accept the R55 update which will be offered. Once installed, please then perform a GPS reset by pressing and holding down the POWER + LAP keys - you will see the 'GPS reset...' message for a few seconds, then the device will reboot automatically.

  • Frozen screen
    Try to restart your device.

  • No response / can't perform a restart
Occasionally you may need to perform a hardware reset, if your Cyclo appears to be "frozen / locked up". Press and hold both the Power button and the START / STOP button at the same time until the device goes blank and restarts.

  • The Screen is difficult to read
Go to Settings > System > Screen > Change the screen Brightness level to suit your current light condition.

  • Can't establish a connection with a computer
First ensure that your Mio as well as your computer are both switched on before trying to establish a connection.
Check that the cable is securely plugged into the USB ports of both Computer and Cyclo. Connect the cable directly to your Computer - don't use a USB hub.
Restart your Mio before connecting the cable. Always disconnect your device during Computer restart.
Please note:If you are unable to connect your Cyclo, you can also perform a hardware reset and reconnect it to the PC.
