Different file format on MiVue 8 series

Format+ Function:

1.Reduce the fragmentation of the file system after long-term use of the SD card. Ensure the writing speed of the SD card.

2.To ensure Format+ function works perfectly, system may require format SD card to optimize SD card disk before start recording.

3.To play the video in PC, suggest to copy the videos which you need. It will take lots of time if you copy the entire directory.

4.After formatting, SD card will pre-allocate for video to manage the space more effectively. It will show high percentage of used space after formatting via DVR.

5.The size of files are same, no matter which resolution you selected.
 - Normal：
1 minute: 184 MB
3 minutes: 540 MB
5 minutes: 921 MB
 - Event：61 MB

Note: After playing videos in MAC, it will be normal for DVR to request to format the SD card. Suggest to copy the videos to MAC before you playing them.
