What is the Pre-format System for?

Pre-format system:
It is called Pre-format or Format free. By setting a fixed video file size, the disk (SD card) is pre-divided and allocated the space. After the actual video files are generated, they are sequentially archived into the pre-allocated space.


System advantages:

Increase SD card writing efficiency (tested up to 36%), reduce the probability of abnormal card writing, and extend the life of SD card


System Disadvantages:

If you change any video file size conditions, you need to reformat the SD card.

Need to consume additional disk (SD card) space to maintain system stability.
